Well Friends i am trying to explore more on iphone hacking so here is some thing nice that i want to share with you all.<br />
so lets get started every time so every time iPhone gets connected with your computer iTunes automatically creates a sub folder with device UDID as the folder name and takes a backup of everything available on the iPhone. <br />
<br />
UDID (Unique Device Identifier)is unique for every iPhone and computed from iPhone hardware attributes like MAC, ECID, Bluetooth address, etc…  iTunes backup locations are shown in the Table-1. Once the sub folder is created, then each time the device is connected to the computer, iTunes will only updates the files in the existing sub folder. iTunes also provides a way for the users to store the device backup in a secure way by setting a backup password. When a user sets a backup password, all files in the backup gets encrypted.<br />

iTunes backup everything on the device along with the device details like serial number, UDID, SIM hardware number and phone number. Backup folder contains a list of files which are not in a readable format as shown in the Figure 1. File name consists of 40 digits alphanumeric hex value.<br />

iOS applications share common set of classes and highly depends on the operating system solutions for data communication, storage and encryption. Solely depending on the Apple implementation made them less complex but it affects security of the applications. Though iOS comes with a great set of security features like code signing, ASLR, DEP, sand boxing and Data Protection, all of them are subject to attack. Relying only on the iOS security could lead to demise the sensitive data stored within the application when the iOS is compromised. Application security can be improved by understanding the weaknesses in the current implementation and incorporating own code that work better.<br />
<br />
The presentation illustrates several types of iOS application attacks like run time manipulation, custom code injection, SSL session hijacking and forensic data leakage. It gives an insight into the iOS Keychain & data protection API and explains the techniques to circumvent it. The presentation will provide guidelines and suggests best practices for secure iOS application development.<br />
